Snow futures update

Did anyone buy New York snow futures when I first reported the sale of snow futures on the Chicago Merc? (EDITOR: Interesting introduction, Bob, but snow futures don't start trading until the 26th.) New York set a record for snowfall when Central Park recorded 26.9 inches of snow. (The old record was 26.4, set in December 1947.)

I heard that a homeless man in New York died in the blizzard. That gives me an idea - why don't we start a foundation that invests in snowfall futures, then takes care of the homeless if there's snow?
